Group Y (Non-Technical) Selection Process

The selection procedure for Indian Air Force Airmen in Group Y (Medical Assistant Trade) consists of various steps.

• The first step is the Physical Fitness Test (PFT), consisting of a 1.6 km run, 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats. The time limit is 7 minutes for candidates aged 21 and under, and 7 minutes and 30 seconds for older candidates with a Diploma/B.Sc certificate.
